We purchased the MZS1004 subwoofers from MTX at a great price as they were out of the Thunder 5500 series at one point. The subwoofers are the exact same, except for the dustcap (cone logo area), and we believe the MZS has a better looking cone than the T5500 cone. The materials, power handling and all specs are exact same and this is our best 10″ subwoofer at this price.
